The Last Doorknob is an interactive speculative work based on the question: What if only one doorknob were left in the world?  Shifting the perspective to an inanimate observer, The Last Doorknob explores the quieter moments of our daily lives. It documents the human experience in a non-linear manner, posing questions such as: What does the doorknob see? How does it process time, language, and emotion? What questions would it ask us? 

Both the observer and narrator, the doorknob becomes a poetic device—embracing the mundane.

Participants could select a question and answer accordingly on the back.
